Work

Watercolor and ink on canvas, acrylic on canvas, acrylic on paper. Text appears in the work. So does the anatomical heart. These pieces span 2016 to now and were made in Minneapolis and Grand Marais, MN.

Drawings on paper, ink, and mixed media. Looser than the fiber work. This is where things loosen up. Experimentation and play is the aim.

Digital drawings. Same themes as the rest of the work: the human body, feeling, accumulation, memory.

Embroidery on worn out dishcloths, raw canvas, coffee filters, and quilts: materials that have already lived a little before I start working on them. The Daily Stitch Project is here, along with pieces about grief, the human body, and the passage of time.

Two installation works, from 2016 and 2021. A Bad Year uses garments on a line. The 2016 view shows painting and stitching together on a gallery wall. You can see how they relate to each other.
